In 1986 Gust William Tsilis released his first recording. The CD featured Arthur Blythe, Horacee Arnold and Anthony Cox. German stereo review picked it as CD of the month in 1987 of August. Pale Fire gained much critical acclaim throughout Europe. Mr. Tsilis has released 11 recordings as a leader and performed on over 25 recordings as a sideman. The recordings have featured musicians such as John Abercrombie, Joe Lovano, Billy Hart, Tim Berne,Lindsey Horner,Anthony Cox, Joey Baron, Herb Robertson, Jack Dejohnette, Dave Holland, Karl Denson, Pee Wee Ellis, Pete Madsen, Arthur Blythe, Lonnie Plaxico, Uri Caine, Cecil Brooks III, Terri Lynne Carrington, and more.

Throughout the 90's Mr. Tsilis spent most of his time developing and managing the internationally acclaimed Jazz club Visiones. There he had the pleasure of booking and working with artists... Joe Lovano, Roy Haynes, Fred Hersch, Joe Locke, Maria Schnieder, Abraham Burton, Mose allison, Chico Freeman and many others. His motivation for keeping this venue together was solely to help musicians to stay in the public's eye or to become more exposed to the listening audience. As an A&R rep for enja records Mr. Tsilis had the honor of assisting Matthias Winklemann in signing and recording artists for his legendary enja records label. "Matthias has provided a chance for so many creative musicians to be heard throughout the world. His devotion to music is historical, in that he created so much for the righteous purpose of giving the gift of music, to music lovers throughout the world ". The singer Kevin Mahogany was scouted and produced by Mr. Tsilis and went on to sell many CD's for enja records. Mr. Tsilis had the pleasure of producing over 50 CD's in the Jazz genre, with many of todays finest musicians. Mr. Tsilis worked for Ken music, a label from Japan which recorded over 30 CD's in one year. As the spirit behind Visiones he learned much about the business of music.

Currently living in Los Angeles, Mr. Tsilis has been composing music for film, and Orchestra. Mr. Tsilis tours Europe two times each year and is currently performing in the Los Angeles area. He is well versed as a drummer, mallet player, pianist and guitarist. He has composed music for Jazz, songs with lyrics, Orchestral music,music for short films and feature films. Music for piano and many other ensemble configurations. As well as a cycle for solo instruments such as Flute, Viola, Violin, Cello, English horn and Clarinet. Three hundred poems and 25 short stories. Currently Mr. Tsilis has the pleasure of studying orchestration with Composer Gernot Wolfgang. Mr. Wolfgang has composed and orchestrated for numerous films. Mr. Wolfgang also composes concert music which is performed throughout the world.
